Construction Activity
Date: Monday, August 17 – Wednesday, August 19*
- Trucks will begin soil off-haul activities as part of the rough grading process.
- Residents and motorists may notice an increased volume of construction trucks traveling along Alpine Road and entering and exiting the project site during the workday.
- Trained flaggers will be stationed at the project entrance to actively coordinate truck movements and help maintain safe and orderly traffic flow.
- The construction team will closely manage truck sequencing and site access throughout the operation, with safety remaining the highest priority.
- Dust-control measures will also be actively maintained throughout the work, including regular watering of active work areas and haul routes, along with other best management practices as necessary to minimize dust associated with truck and grading operations.

Construction Hours
Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in accordance with Town of Portola Valley’s Construction Standards.
General Construction Information
Construction activities will occur within the project site. Residents may periodically observe construction trucks entering and exiting the site via Alpine Road. When necessary, trained traffic control personnel will be present at the project entrance to assist with construction vehicle movements and help maintain safe traffic flow.
We understand that noise and lighting can disrupt the quality of life, and it is a priority to the project team that disruptions caused by construction are minimized. As a result, construction is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. to ensure any potentially loud activities occur during reasonable daytime hours. We anticipate the construction will be completed in late 2028 and appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we complete this important work.
